Saint Cloud bag from Louis Vuitton in monogram canvas with gold-toned hardware. The bag opens with a flap and closes with a snap button. One spacious main compartment and one flat zippered pocket inside, along with an open flat pocket on the back. Notably, the Saint Cloud bags from Louis Vuitton are among the first crossbody bags they began producing around 1960—a perfect everyday bag that can be worn either over the shoulder or across the body for "hands-free" use. This particular piece was produced in April 1983.

Condition

Good used condition. The canvas is intact, but there are normal signs of use, including scratches and scuffing on the edges. A light paint stain on the edge at the back of the bag—see photo. The Vachetta leather has a natural and fairly even darkening, with the most darkening at the front near the metal, along with scratches, scuffing, and water stains. Slight dryness in the Vachetta, but not enough to have caused damage. The interior is neat. Normal signs of wear on the metal, with green patina starting to form, especially on the parts connected to the strap. A scent of detergent and storage.
