Classic Double Flap from Chanel with two-toned metal on the front. The CC logo on the front of the bag is both silver- and 24K gold-plated metal, which is characteristic of this collector's item, as are the other metals of the bag. The bag was produced in two sizes, 26 and 28 cm, and this bag is the smaller size, which is even harder to get. This bag has been popular and sought after among collectors because of its characteristic look and because it was only produced and sold in stores in Paris at the time. The bag is in black lambskin but is lined in burgundy. Under the outer flap is one flat pocket and under the inner flap is one spacious main compartment, one zipped flat pocket, two smaller open pockets and one larger flat in front of the main compartment. The outer flap opens with a CC turn-lock closure and the inner flap with a snap. On the back of the bag is one flat pocket. All metals are gold-toned except for the second C in the logo on the front. The chain strap is braided with black leather. Manufactured ca. 1991-1994. Comes with authenticity card and original dust bag.
