Gorgeous Babylone tote bag from Louis Vuitton in monogram canvas with Vachetta leather details. A spacious zipped main compartment. Inside, there is one flat zippered pocket, one open flat pocket, and two narrow slots, for example for pens or items of similar size. Produced in May 1996 in France. This particular design has been discontinued, making it a true treasure. However, a newer design under the same name is currently available for pre-order at Louis Vuitton, as the Babylone bags have not lost their popularity despite being discontinued for so long.

Condition

Fair used condition. The canvas is intact with normal signs of use such as scratches and scuffing, but no damage. The Vachetta leather is intact and undamaged, with water stains, scuffing, and scratches, which is very normal. The metal hardware has scratches but has retained a fairly good gold tone. Green patina has started to form on one metal piece below the attachment holding the handle. The interior is in poorer condition, with stains, scratches, and wear. The open pocket inside has a seam coming undone at the top, causing it to detach from the bag. The flat zippered pocket is sticky inside. There are similar black sticky-like marks under the seams on the sides and near the top of the bag. See photos.
